Project Goals
Communication
Open, honest and ongoing dialogue between; participants, residents, community leaders, municipal government and partner organizations in regards to how best to use the stories and lived experiences shared for awareness in an ethical manner.
Comprehensibility
We will connect with community partners to ensure that they have the knowledge and support they need for presentations and use of content to build awareness.
Community Consent
Communities will consent to using the materials in an ethical manner that recognizes the vulnerability of participants who chose to share their stories and lived experiences.
Community Accountability
Communities should use this framework to engage on policy changes to create braver and healthier spaces for residents to thrive. It is important that proper time is taken to prepare those who will be engaged with this project to understand and hold their communities accountable to achieve the necessary changes and ensure that the changes are relative and sustainable.
Community Promise
The provided framework and toolkit associated with The CollectiveAB Project requires the time, effort and self reflection to ensure that the goals of the community aligns with the goals of the project which is to create equitable space, create access to services for everyone and create effective changes for braver and bolder communities. This project was built to provide awareness while honouring the lived experiences of all the participants of this project.
